Yes, he was ranked in the top 10 and that demonstrates that Philippoussis is a top player. However, fitness is part of sport. The worry for Hewitt on that score is burnout, a la Michael Chang. A lot of things with The Scud are "if this" and "if that". He has also, in the past, allowed himself to be distracted. Hewitt is doing it now (well, not this week in particular, but now in general) and is a very focused individual. Mark is discovering this attitude somewhat late in his career.

Scuds large frame is taking its toll, with the obvious impact of injuries. . Looks like he is battling to keep weight off. Didn't look as cut as he used to. Gut looked a bit soft, with some mini-handles.

I don't, and never have doubted his tennis ability. Please show me a reference where I have posted this.

My point was if Hewitt DOES suffer a major injury, Easty won't be seeing a heap of wins. You are once against taking my words out of context.

a) You were patronising Hewitt's status.

b) Taking your words out of context? You were being pedantic in the first place. If he does suffer an injury, it's not going to make Easty look stupid, injuries aren't the sort of thing you predict will or won't happen.

My comments were directed at Easty, NOT YOU. I don't see why you need to reply to someone that is not directed at you firstly.
2ndly sure its not the sort of thing you predict, but either is someone saying that he is going to celebrate heaps more wins than another person, ANYTHING can happen.
