Got rid of him for Heater.
Cant afford a zero in these first couple rounds.
 
Heater has had back injuries last few weeks? In fact, he might even miss round one (maybe, not 100% sure).

If you have hill on your bench, it wont be a zero :)

The teams for Sunday come out tomorrow...and if Goddard isn't named and the server has crashed by the time the teams come out we won't be able to change it.

What?

The teams for Saturday are out tomorrow as well. It's the same situation if he was playing Sunday, he wouldn't be named on an extended bench.

ahhhh im gona keep him, only other option id look at is scotland but with limited preseason im not liking it. Hopefully it is just a rumourr

Yeah I know, that's what I meant.

He's either named, or not. Even if he was playing Sunday it would be the same, wouldn't be on the extended bench.
 
Goddard was not put on the injury list!!
Therefore i say he is not injured...there is really no confirmation as to anything! Its the age old story of making something bigger than it is!! he will play...funnily enough i remember saying the exact same thing about Nick Stevens!!

This is a worry, but would need something more firm than a rumour from a Perth radio station. I am more concerned about Heath Shaw at this stage, he is struggling to come up for this week - also hamstring issues. I am happy to cover one but not two!

Who invented hamstrings anyway? Why can't we sue them for poor design?

Here are my thoughts on Goddard. I think he'll average at least 95, and may miss 1 or 2 games. If this particular injury even exists, then it's 95 x 20 for Goddard's scores and 50 x 2 for Suban/Broughton's scores, giving me 2,000 total points for the year. That's more than I think anyone I could trade him out for will get me, (I think Fisher, Mackie etc. won't go up anymore and 90 x 22 is less than 2,000) and I actually think Goddard will average more than 95.
 
I believe that the nuffs from out west have got their wires crossed. Probably heard that a key Saint had a hammy injury and with Goodard not training, put the injury on him. Hayes has since been announced as having the hammy injury.

Riewoldt also didn't train but I haven't heard any such rumours about him!

I'm sticking with him unless he is not named.
