yes we played poorly for most of the game V lions BUT the game style played in the last quarter is our future. it was hard and willing defensive type footy. lions didn't score we smashed them in the clearances which was in the lions favour upt till 3Q time.

yes we have personel out so the game plan needs to change it probably has
without barlow and mundy in midfield class and polish is missing.
we ain't playing games on our terms. if we have to win ugly from now on so be it. make it a scrap, a fight to the last man standing.

I think we need Zac and griff as our ruckmen with bradley up forward and only used sparingly in the ruck. we lost teh centre clearances 19-4. this area needs heaps of work without mundy and sandi.

Roger made a difference playing as a high half forward.

Broughton needs to play in the midfield and let palmer play in there also.

as with barlow the worry is how will roger and Silva stand up after along lay off- the threat of soft tissue injury is there.

I think realistically finishing 7th or 8th is were we sit and would require
11and a half or 12 wins. demons and tigers have that half a win.

we play GC, slime, caarlton, hawks & colon wood at home

with games against sydeny, Saints, north & dishlickers away

we have 5 more games at subi they have to be a must win.

If we approach each game as we approached the last quarter V lions we can find 5 wins!! not pretty but it works.

Also, the problem with playing Broughton as a mid is we lose a quality rebounding defender. With a full list on the park I think we have the midfield cattle for him to stay down back.

we showed it in the secondf half V Suns and we showed it for the whole game V swans. the hard slogging, take no prisoners, warrior type of footy we have to play. the fact it rained help us more than the swans. we don't need to win fancy winning ugly is ok!!

Can't agree with you on where broughts should play.
Broughton is crucial to our midfield now,he gives us a far better chance of winning the contested footy now.Sandi,barlow,broughton,mundy,lower & fyfe ,will be hard to stop in the coming weeks.Besides our backline is working fine the way it is.

While Mundy's out Broughts should play mid. It's where he's having the most impact. It's not like our backline is struggling without him.

Even when mundy returns,harvs will keep broughts in the guts,has to IMO.

I'd leave hilly as a half back flanker as well.
Hill combined with suban ,will make it much easier to clear opposition presses.
