This usually turns out a serious form race.
Tempted to completely ignore the Flemington form from 7 September & suggesting both Emission & Eagle Rhythm will improve sharply at good odds.
Both serious performers,both got back,pulled out and did jack.
Would want to be just about winning this if to be taken seriously later in the Spring.


Great Glen has already made a mockery of the form that day,today will prove if it's ok to wipe that day from the memory bank.

Anyone like anything else today???

Race 4 #9 Hail To The Chief

Looks very hard to beat today. The stable rate it fairly highly. I'm not convinced that 1400m will be enough, but you can be sure that it'll be running on.

Race 8 #1 Manawa King

He's one of the horses i black booked in that other thread. Should run pretty well.

Listened to the race. Sounds like Hail To The Chief got in a bit of a rumble in the straight. Was 3 deep and near last, ended up running 4th. Follow it.

Chairman's Choice has been 'up' for months. Yet he keeps producing. It is a real credit to his trainer Ray Naylor. But I wonder how long he can keep performing.
