People are so overrating Greenwood, I don't understand why? He's 26 , shanks alot of his disposal and is not the quickest guy going around. Are people that blindsided by a couple of good tackles he does a week or are the people on here his family members? Yet they get into CEY who was excellent again especially in close
Greenwood is a gun. Developing beautifully.

When I used to go surfing all the time the difference in my surfing when at Aldinga beach compared with what I could do at Cactus Beach or Gnaraloo In WA was massive.
Or skiing at Mt Buffalo Victoria compared with Lake Louise in the Rockies Canada.

Now I know your taking the urine by naming Mt. Buffalo.

Can’t understand how brown misses on being in best players. Was clearly in top 3 on ground

Has been very good for Bris this year, has torn apart a prelim final, while Gooch has played how many games? And how many of those were as good as what CC has played. Way too early to claim that. Same with Doedee over Lever. Sure we are happy with his poor form at Melb, but Jake played well for a number of seasons, and while I hate him I still understand he plays ok.
You cant claim that Jake played well with us because he had two key backs in Talia and Hatigan which allowed him to zone off and mop up and look really good, but then ignore that same point when saying how well Doedee plays the same role.
You really thrive on the negative view point . When all is said and done we are no weaker without those players, especially given they didn’t want to be there. Our recruiting and development is top notch

Don't see how anyone could have enjoyed that game, it was terrible, managing to simultaneously ask the questions "How did we win by so much?" and "How did we not win by more?". An Eagles fan elsewhere said it best, we're behaving just like the Eagles after their GF loss - learn nothing from the wins, and everything from the losses.

Whilst I agree it was frustrating after half time, in reality, with their constant pressure we just couldn't play like the millionaires we did in the first half, and it showed.

Liked the move to put milera behind the ball. That gave him the extra time he needs and he delivered it well

It’s a cheap position but he made the
most of the extra time and showed he has the composure and skills.

The challenge is to get him to bring that focus closer to the contest
I’m happy for us to park a 20 year old in that spot for a few years before shifting him closer to the contest. Let him build 50 games there.

Definitely not a game I’ll be watching again any time soon. The result was never really in doubt after about halfway through the second quarter.

It would be nice if we could get through a game without a hamstring injury though. We’ve had someone injure their hamstring in every game apart from R1.
The second quarter was good to watch as a crows supporter. Apart from that it was terrible. I almost turned it off it was so bad.

As a neutral the whole game would have been an eye sore.

Congratulations to those supporters that rocked up on a Saturday night against a bottom 4 team, almost 45k at AO.

Port can only dream of those numbers.

I would love one day for a true head count. I sat in GA at the top of the Southern GS. Looking around the stands there were very large areas with large gaps of no one in seat. The western stand top tier was only half full. The southern stand was no where neat to capacity. The lower levels seemed pretty full. I was thinking at the time 35-40k.

Maybe the Crows are using #portlogic and counting staff, security, etc etc.

1) When all is said and done we are no weaker without those players, especially given they didn’t want to be there. 2) Our recruiting and development is top notch
1) Agree strongly, for your reason in bold. Leaver wanted the $s (no thanks to his old man for those values) and it was clear that CC's mind and heart were elsewhere.
Hypothetical: suppose the selectors got wind of their intentions last year, mid-season. I'd be thinking, "OK, piss off", drop both and blood Doedee and either of Gallucci/Murphy. I know that this has hindsight as a driving force (I had no idea Doedee is so good) but I think selecting players who want to leave is counter-productive and weakens team intent and unity.
2) Most recently, yes. What we got for Leaver and CC has strengthened our best 22 and depth.
