Having a look ahead, the draw is certainly going to help us.

Round 8 v Collingwood - We have an 8 day break and they travel back from Perth.
Round 9 v Brisbane - at the Gabba but Brisbane travel the week before to Adelaide.
Round 10 v Melbourne - at the dome on a Friday night, nothing in our favour here. Our first Friday night game, maybe being on the media stage of a big TV game will bring out the best in some of the youngsters. We'd be not expected to win that one.
Round 11 v West Coast - We have a 9 day break and it's at the MCG. West Coast play Port the week before which would no doubt be a massive game - billed as the Premiers taking on the contenders - hopefully a bruising affair leaving West Coast licking their wounds.

I have a somewhat odd analogy (if that's the right word):

2004:
St Kilda are the new emerging talent. Wizard Cup champions, 10-0 in the first 10 rounds then they came across the 2003 Wooden Spooners - the Western Bulldogs. To everyone's surprise the Bulldogs snatched a brilliant win.

2005:
West Coast are now the new dominant force. Wizard Cup Runners up, 7-0 at the moment, and look like winning their next 3 (against St Kilda at Subiaco, Collingwood at the MCG and Port Adelaide at Subiaco) to be 10-0 by round 10. Round 11 they face the 2004 Wooden Spooners - The Mighty Tigers at the MCG.

Question is: Are we capable of knocking them off as the Bulldogs did the Saints last year? I know I'm getting a bit dreamy at the moment, but I could not help but notice the similarities.

I'm going to that West Coast game, gonna stick it up my mate if we win. If things go well, I give us a good chance to aswell.
Like TW wants, I want the interstate clubs to fear stepping on the G to face this Richmond outfit.

R8 = Win
R9 = lose
R10 = lose
R11 = lose

i find that to be a realistic approach to the games ahead. not many would expect us to win against melb,bris n wce. but i would think we would get closer than most people expect

WCE have got to lose one sometime.
I would think we would be the only ones with a chance as they have
-West Coast Eagles vs. St Kilda Subiaco Oval
-Collingwood vs. West Coast Eagles M.C.G.
-West Coast Eagles vs. Port Adelaide Subiaco Oval
I can see them winning all of them.

i don't expect us to win or lose. But I honestly think we will beat West Coat. I can see us making life hard for Melbourne also. Brisbane will improve and I think they will be the toughest game of the three

i said I don't EXPECT us to win or lose. Expect is the key word. In other words I'm not going to predict either because I can't picture us struggling against or belting west coast. You UNDERSTAND? I think we can win but I'm not going to say we are going to win. Is that enough information for you or do you need more?
