Okay, I never thought I would say this about Essendon, but I hope you win this week and win good. When we lost on Saturday Night, I immediately tipped we'll play you in the Grand Final. I hope that lives up to expectations. If you can win this week, you should be able to beat Collingwood providing the conditions are good. Collingwood will have big heads. On the otherhand, we need to get past Adelaide and Sydney to play you lot in the GF. I have a question. Do you think Mark Mercuri will play this week? He just might step up and have a blinder. I hope he plays.

Oh BTW, If it is a Brisbane V Collingwood GF, who wouldn't you like to see win? Same applies with Brisbane V Port.

If it is a Collingwood v Brisbane GF, I hope you give them a royal spanking! On the other hand, I would probably prefer Port to win over Brisbane.

Hahaha. We'll make sure if you lose that next week, Collingwood make the Grand Final and that us, Adelaide or Sydney beat them in the big one. That will hurt like hell.

I live in Brisbane and the big w@nkfest that occured over the past 2 years has driven me into a massive Brisbane hater.

I was a member of the Brisbane Lions between 1998 and 2001 (just for the pure fact that I could see AFL games live) and have to say that I have been to more Brisbane Lions matches in that time than 80% of the Brisbane population, yet after the 2001 GF loss I had alot of these people come up and give me crap about it even though they had never been to a game in their lives!

I could handle Collingwood winning a premiership as long as they beat Brisbane doing it.

After the past 2 years MOST Collingwood and Essendon supporters have joined forces in Brisbane - hating the Lions.

Yeah, I only asked about Mercuri due to what Hird said after the game. The thing that lies in his favour is he didn't travel to Perth last week, so he should be fit and refreshed and open for a huge game if he is selected, which I think he will be.
