Have a look at the following post, which shows clearly that a Dees' player deflected the ball oob. Umpire in perfect poz to see it, too.
All of the Dees supporters whingeing about the non-free kick can sprinkle their salt over all the big brown ones they can feast on.
Correct can’t be deliberate if Melbourne player touched it last through a deflection.

I will say Fogs hit on Lever was pretty dirty. I was 10m away and he hit him pretty hard with an elbow to the upper back. He was getting held off every contest so no doubt he was frustrated but still dumb. Haven't seen a camera angle that caught it yet.

Yes the end should've been paid deliberate, so should've Gawn HTB, and there were SO many unpaid free kicks. Real contenders wouldn't let it get to that point, we are a young side rebuilding with many gaps you should be pumping us by 10 goals. What about the 'throw' call on seed when it was a clear handball that bounced off a demons player? Get ****ed dees fans, get absolutely ****ed.

It's so much sweeter because I've never seen more than 1k dee's fans EVER at a home game, and suddenly they are all out and about and cocky af, talking shit thinking they are all that. You are an irrelevant football club and won't win anything.

Oliver is a gun but.

Lol "dirty"? Have you seent he incident on replay? Fog hit him in the back of the arm ffs

I'll add a "lol" at the "supporters" who left after Melbourne had put themselves 3 goals up with 7 odd minutes to go.

Ouch.

Reminded me of the Monfries bounce game when the teals poured out of Footy Park when we were 4 goals up with a similar time remaining.

Good
We laid our first ever shepherd tonight

ROB after his 50m penalty, shepherded for Seed after handing it off to him. Goal

Will it take another 30 years to see our second?

Honestly havent seen a replay, I sit near the 50 metre line and from where I was seeing it looked unnecessary. Still, couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke.

One guy that has gone under the radar a bit is Jimmy Rowe. His last two weeks have been exceptional.

The game is starting to slow down around him and he has composure with the ball in hand. Seems to have thrived without Murphy in the team.

Offers much more than just a small forward. Very creative with the ball and setup a few plays tonight.

Kid will put together an impressive AFL career I think.

Didn’t we lay someone out last week with a shepherd? Schoenberg maybe?

Completely unnecessary.

Except if you are trying to put a player off their game of course

You're right. Also it shows Murray was hand balling at right angles to his body towards Doedee, yet the ball goes virtually straight to the boundary. The only way that could happen is if Spargo deflected it. Thats why the Melbourne players didn't even blink an eyelid let alone remonstrate with the umpire.

Correct and brave call after all the howlers that went against us for the rest of the game.

Let's face it - it was blatantly deliberate.

However, don't get angry at the Vic media for blaming the umpires for the Dees losing. That's what makes it even funnier. We've been shafted numerous times in key matches by borderline cheating, so just sit back and enjoy it.
Problem is that when it goes the other way nothing is said.
If it had been the other way around, the entire post game would be about how brave Melbourne were. They would not have mentioned the deliberate once.
