Plonking this in the Club Room as I want no fuss. I would ask one of my friends manangatang or NaturalDisaster to lock this thread as there should be no distraction from the great daily hullabaloo of the Sweet FA. I'm posting this as I expect an unexplained absence would be open to speculation and that would not be healthy.

A few folk know my time here has been coming to an end. Their adherence to confidentiality is appreciated. Over the past year the Sweet FA has provided me with countless body laughs and chortles through my physical decline. I count myself lucky.

I may not be a 2,100 year old failed Roman poet but I really am an old bastard and it is my time. I remain a happy albeit difficult person. I am now no longer able to post and this will be my last.

I offer a generic thanks to my team mates at the Wonders, especially Cadsky and ClarkeM for their support. I am also grateful for Dingster who in a rare ill advised moment recruited me.

A last word to the small WW community. WW has provided me with enormous fun and engagement. I urge others to give it a crack.
