So in the USA they blocked the ability to disable safe search in December of last year, this didn't affect us so I wasn't bothered, however just recently Google has done the same in Australia. Type in boobs, pussy or wet panties and see for yourself.

I am disgusted.

We should be allowed to search whatever we like!

Just tested it. It's not hard to find those photos still. Easy as adding 1 more word in most cases.

In saying that, the changes they made when you click pictures pisses me off. So i'll join the angry mob.

haha, yes. Through google I found out if you type the word "nude" you can still get to those images but that's ridiculous.

Disable the SafeSearch filter

Yep, you're right. You can remove safesearch by unclicking "filter" thing, but it still shows almost entirely the safest pictures.

Looks like it's off to Yahoo Image Search instead? Unless someone finds a sneaky way to remove the filter completely.

Bing is playing up now too. Even when you save safe search OFF.

Bing is still filtering out adult images when safe search off, like there's a 'server'/'isp' filter being applied on top.

I typed in campaigner with safe search OFF....i got a number of the google search images, but also got a large number of explicit content.

When i refreshed, all those explicit ones suddenly disappeared. Reopening the page in a new tab and re-setting safe search to OFF, now no explicit ones even appear.
