Gotta Keep Farmer

Ok then, quick question, how many fremantle players have been suspended this year? How many weeks worth of play have been lost due to poor discipline and moronic over aggression? What impact do you think the continued presence of Farmer, one of the most filthy and disgraceful players in the modern game does to your list? Do you think it encourages them to change that habit of stupid on-field behavior that seems endemic at Fremantle?

What do you mean by "a bit obtuse"?

It wasn't meant as an insult at all.

But at times I find you a bit hard to follow.:thumbsu:

Yup it was one of the great bigfooty sprays i have seen, wasnt clever because most of it was just these "*****"

And Ripper rubbed it out.:(

But I love it when I make a new friend.

Whoever you are out there please feel free to PM me with your hatred and vitriol.....I will print it out and pin it up with the rest of my collection.:thumbsu::)

Your opinion not ours in any way. His lack of presence is what has caused the problem.

Bye bye

Have not commented on it so far . but here are my thoughts.

Given the timing of the events only hours after CC resigned ,We should be prepared cut him a bit of slack this time becuase of that.

Wiz would have been well aware that He was most probably the reason that CC and the season is gone.

No doubt he would have been reminded of that in the hours preceeding the incident , and being injured had robbed himself of any chance of redeeming the situation.

I reckon if I had let everyone down like he did I would have gotten pissed and a bit angry at the world as well.

In a way it is a sign that He does have a concience which is good.

You're making excuses Ripper, we're all responsible for our actions. You are suggesting that Farmer realised that he had let his temper get the better of him a couple of times this year resulting in another man losing his job, so he got drunk and committed a crime?

When most people make a mistake they take steps to prevent it from happening again. Farmer's temper + alcohol are a terrible combination, and if he had half a brain he would have known that getting drunk on Wednesday wouldn't be a good idea.

I know I'm bound to be taken the wrong way but *shrug*.

Have any of you given consideration to the possibility that he might be an alcoholic ? That's not meant to be a criticism, just a possible explanation for his behaviour. If it is the case then treatment is the proper solution, not banning, dropping, suspending, sacking et al.

To be fair, I totally agree with this.
