Honestly I was surprised that Stewart didn't get the Port treatment last week and get subbed off with a "migraine"
They've been a bit questionable in the past with some of that stuff.

He was blaming the sub rule
You could tell from the impact and the pain that Cameron had broken his arm. They could have subbed him off straight away instead of stupidly jabbing him and sending him back on the field.
That's on them IMO
The narrative will be how tough and brave he was completely over looking they never did a HIH.

Its seems the right move for everyone.
Brisbane have to let a few go to keep their list fresh and they are stacked full of talent. As good as he is they can afford to let him go given what they would have to offer to keep him.
If he gets injury free a guy like Coleman can come straight in.

All GF winning sides have players who have minimal impact - look at our 1997 and 1998 premiership sides for example.
The difference is what your classy players do or don’t do.
I'd like to know what Chris Scott means when he says there were "some known things and some unknown things" when he was talking about challenges during the season. I bet the "unknown things" was player behaviour related stuff getting swept under the carpet.

Fair enough if he can't legally talk about it but it's a bit rich to try and garner sympathy for stuff that other clubs likes ours would be raked over the coals for.

A journalist asked Scott to be specific, but he said he wasn't going to get "sucked in" to responding to them... even though he was the one who brought them up, which no one else could, because they were internal things.
Then he rambled for five minutes about the sub rule and how it sucks, even though they had 30 minutes to determine whether Cameron's arm was okay (because it happened before half time). And the sub rule is literally there so you can replace an injured player with a fresh one - if there wasn't a sub rule they would've been one player short. They benefited from the sub rule.
He's clearly a great coach but FMD.
