Grand Final package

I've just been into Bombertalk & someone is selling GF packages for $600 each, I was wondering if anyone knows the actual price of these packages which includes:
1 seat in the Olympic stand & 1 entry to the GF eve Gala Dinner Friday night.
I would have thought they are only worth about $250 tops, please let me know.

I saw the Brisbane Lions offering similar packages in an advertisment for about $500 the other week.

But put it this way Sandie. If you pay $600 for the package now, you'll probably feel that burning hole in your pocket for the next month or so. But in years to come, you'll forget about the money and just have the memories of seeing one of the greatest ever football teams winning a premiership (or alternatively, the start of an avalanche of Bomber jokes should they lose!). You've come all the way from Perth, you may as well get into the MCG as well.

I'm actually still in Perth, I sold my plane tickets because I wasn't going to spend over $700 just to watch it on T.V. I can still buy another plane ticket if I can get a GF ticket at a reasonable price, unfortunately I can't afford $600 for GF ticket on top of that.
Rooboy for someone who is always trying to tell other people to make sensible comments, I think you should practice what you preach. I was asking for positive feedback, not just another chance for you to have a dig at a Bomber supporter.

I just took a look in the Herald-Sun classifieds and the cheapest ticket is $275 for a standing room ticket in the AFL Members Reserve. For seats, the cheapest is about $400 with "prime seats" going for at least $700.

Thanks Shinners, I'll get my friends in Melb to try & get one of the standing room tickets for me, I've got about 5 hrs to book my seat on a plane, so fingers crossed if they get the ticket I'll be in Melb tomorrow night. Otherwise it's the Greenwood or Wembley pub.

Sandie, I was only offering some North Melbourne hospitality, and when have I said people have to make sensible comments, what I said to you is "you should not be proud your club got caught cheating" which I still stand by....

Hope you get a cheap ticket to the granny, but if not the offer is there...

sandie grand final tickets and packages are only worth as much as people are willing to pay for them.
while people keep going to the football the afl will keep putting prices up, and scalpers for that matter

I have just finalised my Grand Final details. Apparently I am going with some friends to the Victory Room at Colonial. I think it might be one of the functions for Essendon members who miss out.

I have already made it clear that I can not bring myself to go with them to the Grand Final celebrations at Melbourne Park if Essendon win.
