Lynch and Bradshaw are unlikely to score enough goals on their own to win the cup for Brisbane, so the Lions will have to rely on a fleet of running players to add a few scoring shots to the tally. This is certainly a lot harder to do on the MCG on Grand Final day than it is up at the Gabba any other time. Once again, Essendon will rely on pressuring the ball carrier with Hardwick, Solomon, McVeigh, Mark and Jason Johnson all up to the task. Jonathan Brown might be a surprise packet for Brisbane against lower quality backlines, but against Essendon he will find it hard to produce goals with either Danny Jacobs or Sean Wellman likely to take him on. No doubt that Lynch will get Fletcher for the day, but Mark Johnson will no doubt spend some time annoying the big drug cheat in an effort to get his mind off the job. Bradshaw will likely be picked up by Dean Solomon if he isn't given an odd match-up on the taller Brown, and once again, the points should favor Solly and allow Essendon to build attacks out of defense.
