Media #grandfinalrematch to take centre stage in Round 13

As you all doubtlessly know and think about often, the Mount Buller Demons put together the most dominant premiership side ever* in Season 26, ultimately kicking 28 goals in the grand final to beat the Fighting Furies by 87 points.

This season, the Furies have paved the way for all teams with the success of #grandfinalrematch. We've all thoroughly enjoyed TJASTA, ImissFrosty, Pickitt and friends go about their business in appropriately sized match threads.

As such, I am delighted to announce that the Demons have decided to embrace the movement this week.

In celebration, the Demons have promised to "flick the switch" and put on an absolute clinic this coming Sunday in a Season 26 #grandfinalrematch.

Let's use this thread, and perhaps all threads, to celebrate the Mount Buller Demons, their Season 26 success, and the upcoming demolition job of the Furies on Sunday.

I hear Toump Ass and CrimsonViolet have some words to kick off proceedings - over to you, my dear friends.

No. Not a “rematch”. A rematch would mean the Furies have the opportunity to win back the season 26 premiership.

Makes a mockery of the actual award. Those that have won it really should be ashamed. They supposedly “won” but had nowhere near the performance I did. They and the league should be embarrassed.
