Never thought I would have the remotest interest in supporting a interstate team, particularly from Qland but Lions have become my defacto team this season. ****, Hodgey and now Birch. Really hope he gets his 5th. They need to tidy up the goal kicking or it won't happen.

Its great to see Birch get over his injury issues and string some games together.

Worked out best for all parties - Hawks, Lions and Birch - in allowing us to get games into Scrimshaw (Birch mark 2), Will Day and even CJ, and giving them that leader in the back half.

Lions have always been my '2nd team', and I'm definitely going to be supporting them in the finals.

Agreed. Probably the only team i could stand watching win. Saints and Ratts would be better of course, but can’t see that happening.

I'm holding out for either a Saints or a Brisbane win, can't say I'd actively barrack for anyone else.

I could live with a Port or West Coast win, just please not Geelong, Richmond or Collingwood.

I may be a bit different to the OP in my opinion on Birch.

I know the Birchall family very well I played footy with and against his dad Ian and I loved him as a Hawk player, but it would kill me to see him win another Flag in different colours.

Having said that, I would barrack my heart out if it meant the Lions beat the Handbaggers in a GF.

Imagine how much they would sook if they had to play a GF against Brisbane at the Gabba....

I'm fine with a Collingwood win in fact I'd love Buckley finally getting a flag, Richmond or Geelong would be so 2020

Nah no Buckley, he left the Brisbane Bears in a quest for a flag so the fact that he's yet to win one in any capacity is like cosmic karma.
