Actually I said that so that people would use the link and look at the interview themselves - hence earning more money for the Saints.

I did find the following excerpts quite interesting (especially considering the amount of supporter abuse that Goddard cops):

Q. Hey Grant, what did you think of Brendon's game last week?

Grant Thomas: Brendon for one reason or another be it the media, opposition, attracts a lot of criticism. We forget he is still just 20 years of age, has played around 64 games, he is a developing midfielder. He is nearly 100 kilos and 6'3" and will be a very damaging and dominant long term player at our Club. We need a bit more patience with him, he is rarely beaten and uses the ball extremely well.

Q. Hey Grant, do you think Leigh Montagna will cement a permanent position in the side? His start to the season has been impressive!

Grant Thomas: Yes, he has been very impressive, he has started to play the football we expect from him. His work rate is a reflection on his form. He makes smart decisions and distrubutes the ball well, he is a key player in the future for us.
