GEELONG - Fighting On
Well done on your win, I thought Geelong were the better side on the day, but in my opinion that makes your victory even much better. This is a great sign for your side in the weeks leading up to September.

Good Luck

Cheers mate, could have gone either way today, just glad to take the 4 points home from Skilled, something that has proved to be most difficult this year. All the best to the Cats, we'll definitely be seeing them come September

All things must pass, as it's been said-- and while the last two months have been a dream for Geelong fans, the Crows have had a good run this season as well. Wouldn't surprise me if our paths crossed again sometime in Spetember.

And for all the talk and criticism about the Cats' inaccuracy in front of goal, the Crows were freaks in front of the sticks. Any team that takes their opportunities THAT well, knocking home major scores on 15 out of 18 chances, deserves to win.

And Riccuttio came up big in the final term when he had to. That's where the game was won and lost, in my opinion.

Way to go, Crow fans-- and like I said, maybe we'll see you again in September.

Cheers,
William

Thank you, Crows. I was shaking at the end, I don't know about any of you but I can't stand watching games live on TV (God knows what the neigbours think, some lunatic screaming at the TV set) You made the most of your opportunities and a great captain performance by the "Roo. Even though he had a quiet second and third quarters he certainly stood up in the last.

For once it wasn't us who wasted scoring shots (we have done that numerous times in the past). Mind you most of our shots were straight in front 30-50 metres out.

A few guys were down, Johnson (first game back), McLeod (did some useful things but not spectacular. But then again I probably expect too much from this champion), Stevens (well beaten by Scarlett, I have got say that bloke is bloody good), Goodwin (down significantly). Still a win is a win and horefully the boys can whip those Swannies #rses next week!

Cats were impressive and they will only imrpove with experience.

I'm with you Kirky, agree with everything you said!

I think my neighbours learn to close their windows when the Crows play away, and my family have definitely learnt to go out for the day!

Wasn't it great to see Gary so pumped after the win....

Congratulations to Adelaide on the win today. I will stop short of mentioning the umpires, as what comes around goes around, and I'm still bitterly disappointed with the result.

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Go Cats!!

SeinDude I thought Crows were indeed lucky to win this game, as Geelongg certainly had more of it all day. Bad luck, and thanks BTW for the congratulations.

I know there were some "stinker" decisions by the men in white today, but they went both ways and Geelong had the better of it with 15 frees to 9, so I don really know what you are on about with the umpires though.

I tell you what, the Geelong crowd agreed with your POV rather than mine though.

Good luck for the rest of the season & I hope we don meet in the finals - it may again proove too close for comfort.

Thanks Cats fans(Best Victorian supporters).

I hope today's victory sees the club sign up Gary Ayres immediately.

agreed his emotion after the siren was a highlight i think the club should give a indicater to there intentions you would have to say he appears to have an excellent bond with the players does anyone know anymore regarding this situation;) ;) ;)

May also help in the Wayne Carey situation. No coach signed for next year surely won't be that attractive to him unlike Essendon who appear to be the frontrunners for him at this stage.

Thanks for your gracious comments Nolsey, William & Seindude. Crows were lucky the goal-kicking gods were on their side today, as that was definitely the difference between winning & losing. It was a great game to watch as I always had the feeling it would go down to the wire. Cats have far exceeded my expectations this year & genuinely deserve to make the finals this year. :)

heart failure

I agree Kirky! My neighbours know I am mad! I yell and I scream at my TV. Yesterday I even stomped out the room a couple of times! It reminds me of the 98 GF. My neighbours complained at half time about my yelling/screaming. Gary must have heard my reply since he quoted me yesterday "f*** you, f*** you, f***you!"

Anyway it was a fantastic game. I love the Roo. I always have but he is a legend. He stood up when we really needed it. Like Gary, I just wanted to give him a big hug last night!
