Greatest Basketball team- all time

Bit of a newbee to basketball, but have been getting into it heavily in the last few months. First time in the basketball forum.

Who would you say would be in the greatest basketball team of all time?

Please show me if there is another thread on this

Without thinking too much about it my 2 standouts would be:

- Boston that won 9 straight (?? Was it 9 in the 50s).

- Chicago with 2 three-peats 91-93 then 96-98 (watching their 95/96 season was simply awesome).

Won 5 straight titles. Then discovered booze and women.

secondly welcome to the basketball board/golf board. if you play with the small white ball/clubs please contribute in the off season thread.

best bball team ever? hard to say. perhaps the celtics featuring bill russell.

but for me it was any team chamberlain played for. the fact he scored as much off the court was the clincher for me.
