Look might not be the most gifted player on our list but bugger me this boy has leader stamped all over him. Really ran the show for us across the backline in the second half. Wouldn't be suprised to see him take on more of a higher leadership role next season.

Keep fighting the good fight Greg.Hopefully he plays out the rest of the year in the navey blue. :thumbsu:

To be honest,

I'm not sure if grounds like Subiaco, MCG etc suit Gregs game.

He reminds me very much of a more mobile Adam Bentick - the sad part of that is that he's probably a more reliable kick than Bentick.

Was OK - but todays game was nothing to write home about, that kick into the man on the mark had me calling for his blood.

On a positive he seems like a pretty popular player with his teammates the way they were carrying on after the game.

Where are the Ants playing next week?

Played like an old Rolls Royce for mine. Fairly smooth, for the most part....but still has those stops, starts & splutters that keep your heart firmly in your mouth.

Not sure about a leadership position and I think that's way over the top but the shit he cops on this board is a disgrace.

He is nowhere near as bad as most say. Nowhere near.

He's a good honest footballer that is limited, knows his limitations and tries to play to his strengths.

Tries his guts out which is exactly what we need instead of flashy show-ponies that don't care about the team, but rather how their statistics look at the end of the game.

Keep him in for another week. He wasn't BAD today and doesn't deserve to be dropped.

haha this is pretty funny to read, he looks out of his depth in this game, that error where he kicked into the man on the mark and im pretty sure they got a goal as a result really made me explode

I'm with Jeremias on this one.

He did make some errors, but he did show a few surprisingly silky looking bits of play and there is no denying his effort.

If we can just get him blocking more often for the likes of Judd and Co he could still be quite handy, especially as Hadley has been a bit of a disappointment thus far.

I say give him a chance.

Reserves player at best.....we'll only be mediocre team if GB remains a required player.
Hadley is a better option for this role & you'd like to think GB will make way for someone this week now Ratt's has made his "statement".
And if he can't play on the MCG, then there's definately no use in having him in the upcoming games to the finals.

I dont know how to reply to this as i dont know if the OP is taking the Piss or not!!

Anyway i will say my opinion from watching todays game and many others of him.

The guy is a Tossa and not cut out for footy at this level, he has a go yes but he has no skills very poor decision making and if he has the ball in his hands it is heart in mouth stuff as it could go anywhere.

Back to the Bullants for him i am afraid he is not an AFL footballer. You cant take these turnover kings into finals games as they will kill you when the pressure is on.

His lack of awareness on the field is frightening and you can see the mistake he is going to make in slow motion before he has done it!!!

No where near being in our best 22.

Come on, don't you fall for that shit, Chisman. He may be limited but it doesn't make him a "tosser".

He wasn't but he wasn't in our best. Will only be a depth player but I hope for his sake (seems a nice guy and the team seem to enjoy him) that he can become much more. Needs to work on specific areas of his game but still has some kind of ability and will get a few games for us here and there.

No need to knock him. He's not picking the team...

He was crap again. I watched him closely, and he fails to do the basics. - Misses tackles, can't handball, can't even kick over the man on the mark. He is the worst footballer I can remember playing for Carlton. He has no real upside. No talent. I don't want to sound too harsh. He's having a go, but frankly he'd be better off mowing lawns for a living. Other teams laugh at our depth when we play these kind of players. I don't blame them.

Getting a bit over the top with the "toasts" on this board at the moment. This is certainly one too many.

Was average at best today and can only be likened to a poor mans Bentick, who isn't very good to start with.

Lets toast him into an early retirement.

They were making one hell of a statement to /scotland & Stevens by picking this guy at there expense.

I hope the latter guys learned their lesson & applied themselves fully & succesfully, because he is dead set shocking.

He is a global financial crisis man's ryan o'sullivan.

I hope I never see that guy play for us again.
