All I've heard is that it's a groin strain. Must have been fairly serious to come off so early. Do we have any details yet?

If it's a typical adductor you're looking at 2-3 weeks at least FWIK. But if it's minor could be about 2, if it's really bad could be many weeks. Any news from around the traps would be appreciated?

I was in the rooms after the game and I overhead one of the other players mention Grover had an aductor tear/strain. Also heard that Crowly had back spasms and i hope thats not too serious...

Fyfe had a bag full of ice on the shoulder, it would be interesting to know if his shoulder popped out again. Really hope he gets through the season and doesn't need surguery until the offseason.

Noticed him get up gingerly and not moving his arm much after some friendly fire from Crowls I think.

Didn't LeCras have a torn adductor? That was about a month & he's much leaner, younger....could be as bad as 6+ for Groves....but only guessing if its same injury

Apparently scans on Grover's groin are clear and he will probably be listed as a "test" for this week :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

Great news if true, we can ill afford to lose Groves at this point. He and McPharline (along with Fyfe who is barely hanging in there with that suspect shoulder of his) are the only consistent positives we've had on the field so far this season. Hate to loose him now.

I wouldn't be surprised he misses this week though, despite that early news. Hate it if he badly tore an adductor, they can take weeks to come good.

Harves confirmed the scan on Grover came up clear and he will train on Wed. Listed as a test. I did a minor adductor tear weekend before last and was struggling to move during the game so sat off the last quarter. By Thurs/Fri I was fine. Sounds like he is a good chance to play this weekend.

On an unrelated topic saw Morabito sprint across the road in front of me in West Perth today. He looks fit and no issue with the quick road sprint.

That's good to hear on both counts. I did an adductor years ago, was told it was minor and I was quite uncomfortable for nearly 2 weeks - sounds like Groves might have something closer to your experience. Cool.
