Due to the rain I've swapped the bike riding for walking (limping actually, due to the achilles) and my timing couldn't have been better.

Last night - massive police car chase which made the news due to the perp (I watch Cops) ramming a cop car in a stolen Audi and being bashed by said cops, all occuring right where I ride every night it isn't raining.

Tonight - saw another Audi driving at 150kph+ along the same route and thought that had to be stolen. Nek minnet, said Audi comes flying back in the opposite direction going even faster, closely followed by three unmarked cop cars and two dawdling (in comparison) marked cop cars.

If I was riding on said road the odds are I would've become a hood ornament on a stolen Audi both nights!

Grumpy? Yep as both times the drivers looked like 15 yr olds. Bloody whipper snapper twats!

Dressed in the bike clobber tonight, pumped up the tyres, filled the drink bottle, fumble my way out the front door with the bike and, as if on cue, the heavens open.

No worries, back inside I plod in the bike gear with said transport, get changed into running gear to walk instead. 90 minutes later I arrive home again and decide to pack away the laptop and instead sit on the front porch with the iPad for the regular late night BF perusal.

"NO SERVICE"

Oh get f***ed!

Telstra 3G, which the iPad uses, is down AGAIN. Now on the phone (4G) instead, as I've had to do numerous times this year.

Telstra's running like Dimma Hardwick's taken over FFS. Pathetic!

Intelligence doesn't appear her strong suit either as she claimed she only left the sleeping child in the car as she had to make an emergency dash into a restaurant to use their toilet, forgetting that said restaurant had orher people in it who all said she and the rest of her family sat and dined for 20 minutes.
