Had nbn hooked up a couple of months ago. Loving it! Except for the one day/night per fortnight they're doing work on expanding the network nearby and therefore cut our mofo house off, like yesterday right through last night. Pricks!

Interior painting.

Saved $$$$ but sheesh sick of it after 20 minits....and still at least 69 hours left.
We're currently undertaking a major renovation and are doing all the demo work ourselves to save $$$$ - which we'll then blow on an overpriced kitchen and bathrooms.

I spent the past two weekends removing carpets, tack strips, underlay staples, skirting boards and archetraves. All of this required kneeling for extended periods, which is NOT a barrel of fun when you've got osteo arthritis and no cartilage in your knees.

We're also going to do all our own painting. Can't wait for that

Does anyone else picture Lemmy doing all this?

I was going to go with mirrors on the bedroom ceiling but I think I'll go with this instead.

I'd have thought Lemmy would have been god.

The prep work is the worst.
indeed, moving all the clutter out of the way, only to temporarily even more clutter up another room/hallway.
then moving it all back again, i got to re-do this room as there is a big patch on the wall where i had to rip some plaster off to get to a leaking pipe, smack bang behind the desk and hutch where the pc and all the networking stuff is set up, bloody cables going everywhere. patched it back up but need to paint the whole wall,

only good thing was i could get to the leak on this wall rather than having to rip the vanity and all the tiles off on the other side, thank **** for push-on copper fittings.

the suns just made an appearance, may have to pause backing up all my data stuff (a little well overdue) to get a bit of time making the missuses new greenhouse/conservatory to get some bonus points up given iam catching up wit the blokes at the golfy for drinks tonight.

Assuming you're at a park, they go in various directions unless on a running track?

On another note, dog baiting or whatever it's called where poison or fish hooks are in meat cubes is ****ing stupid.
