There's no rush at all to produce the next GTA game, it's still in the top 5 best selling games every year and the online component is raking in the dough. 2023 would be the earliest release but I'd expect a 2025-6 release date.

I don't know anything about development times but to me a lot of the info seems awfully early to know if they game is still 3 years away.

Surely this would be easy, just use all the assets of RDR2. They seem to have built most of the RDR map in it anyway even though you barely touch it. Not sure if it has been used for Online.
