So what numbers do you guys think our new players will get?

My guess is Murphy will get #5.

I would consider giving Bentick a crack at the lower number of number 9, if they can give 7 to davies, at least you know Bentick has a crack every week.

let's get over campo leaving the club, we have some exciting kids on the list and a new bright future to look to.

at the end of the day campo wore #16 in a premiership winning team and his jumper will be retired for min 1 season

the carlton FC retiring the #16 jumper for 1 season shows the club has some class and is bigger than the induvidual

also Vinnie waight son has his dads Number too so it can happen
i hope past players sons have their dad's number

it is a tradition of the carlton football club to retire the guernsey number of premiership players for a year aftrer they retire. IT IS A TRADITION!!!!! whether or not he was an absolute ********er in the way he left the club, he was still a premiership player and hence the number 16 will be retired for season 2006

anyone who thinks that they will change this tradition because this certain player was much maligned by supporters of club and general footy are absolute morons.
