It's just that I've been out of school for five years, seen and done a lot since, so when I'm talking with people who've only just finished school it's that sometimes I do feel that old.

I mean, when you look at a lot of my tastes (be it in cars, music or whatever), attitudes, and the fact that I more or less have to look back when it comes to the team I support so passionately, and an obsession with nostalgia, I do get the feeling of belonging into an older category than my fairly young years suggest I do.

Yeah actually I know that feeling. But hey when someone makes you feel old, just pretend you're wiser than them or something. :D
 
I'm not going to patronise anyone younger because it's simply not my style. I'm just way too nice and have way too much respect for that ;)
 
Hey, can anyone give suggestions for my 23rd birthday theme? I mean, as in the music, dress, movies to watch, etc? Not that I'm short of ideas but I really want something appropriate! ;)

Geez, when I think about it, my 18th doesnt seem that far away after all! Thanks for that!

A mate of mine and myself are counting down to round 1 and our current countdown stands at 122 days, but I dont know if its correct 'cause there have been SO many conflicting counts around the place...fancy working that out too!? :p

121 until the first match of season 2004.

(I just took the days til my bday - 102, which after counting twenty times I'm sure is correct! ;) and then added the 19 days until the 26th March.)

Right. I think I'll just keep it at 122, close enough for me! :D

This maths stuff has me stumped, no wonder I failed it constantly. Thankfully I dont have to do it next year!

I'm gonna go with 123 - days until first Essendon match! :cool: (flipping interstate. Typical. :mad: Maybe I should count to the first home match that I can go to....:D)

How many days until May 15- the day in which I could have either joy, relief or total heartbreak depending on how the remaining 25 or so games go?!?

And its against us, too! If recent matches are any indication of how this one will turn out well...need I say more? But I dont want to rub it in, I'd actually like to see Essendon get one up on us at some stage!
