yeah its playing up, and the club has put him on the long term injury list. a rookie has not been promoted yet, BUT it is expected that Mark Jamar will be promoted maybe next week.

I wish you'd changed the subject of this thread to "Gus's injured back". Somebody might read it as "Gus is back" and get really excited! Then disappointment would set in as they realise he may be out for 2 months!

I'd be glad if it was only 2 months to be honest, we may never see him play again.

yeah i know. kinda the point.

but i have an awful (disgusting) gut feeling that BT is right. i would not be surprised if he doesnt play again.

I've heard it's "THAT BAD" . He'll be missed but he's not irreplaceable.

Not that he's dead yet of course but he needs plenty of luck.

I somehow doubt Gus will be back in 2 months, remember when they said Powell would be back by round 12 last year??
Or even a few weeks ago when they said Gus would be back in 2-3....
Plus on occasions injured players fail to be even mentioned in these so called "injury reports" I don't trust them.

Yeah I'd like to see Jamar picked this week to give Whitey a hand against Primus,Lade,French? & Maybe even Bish.

Because at the moment Nicholson's the next in line & he's needed at Full back.

if youve seen his goal kicking then u wouldnt say that lol . but i hope they put him onto the senior list. however he hasnt been doing much training, so i dont know if he is injured or not.

Yeah his kicking is awful, so leave him on the bench & get him to spell Whitey. Say half way through the 2nd quarter & maybe the last 5 mins of the 3rd. We could send Whitey to Full Forward to take Speccies over Bish .

awwww poor Bish. Actually i saw him in town the other day and he has actually bulked up a bit. he used to be a bit of a skinny runt, but yeah now he is bigger in the upper body. and he is thinning on top too. LOL

Don't get me wrong I'm still a big Bish fan. Wouldn't swap him for Powell though or Nathan Eagleton .

I hope he plays 20 great games this season but has a couple of shockers against us.

Well I guess that was pretty expected, I too have my doubts in regards to him playing again, but stranger things have happened.
At least we can see this as an opportunity for a new young player to rise and shine, just like Jolly did last year!
