Hard to decipher why you've branded him on just today's game.

He's not a player that does well around the contested situations. History suggestions that. He is around the packs and waits for either his players to receive it from, or he tackles the opposition for it. Nothing wrong with that. He wins enough contested ball anyway.

I did find it odd he played a more of a half-forward role today. Can't really understand that logic seeing his recent form in the centre over the last few weeks.

Hardly think he is overrated. Without him, Richmond wouldn't be where they are on the ladder at the moment. BOG in at least two games this season.

He wasn't the problem today.

Why are these threads so predictable - someone always being called gutless or whatever that you wouldn't call to their face.

None of them are gutless IMO, but he had a bad day. So did a few others and i don't think he should be singled out, let alone called gutless.

We are ahead of the ledger 3/2 - who would have thought that after being wooden spooners last year?

Concentrate on the positives and negatives if you really have to, but don't call players gutless please.

Leave him alone, geez hes been one of your better players since he went to richmond, no point bagging him cause he had a bad game(i didnt see it).

The problem is though that Brown is a receiver. One of the best recievers in the comp, but a reciever nonetheless. If the ball isn't fed to him right then he won't be able to weave his magic.

The passing skills of the whole team tonight were absolutely disgraceful and even still Brown was far, far from our worst.

I thought our midfield lacked a bit of balance at times tonight. There were times when all our midfielders were from the group Coughlan, Tuck, Chaffey and Hyde. All players that will go into the pack looking for the ball. But it leaves no-one out for when the ball spills, or as silky said, to receive or tackle. St Kilda had one or two waiting out and ran off with the ball. Exactly the same thing happened against the cats. While we were all diving in after the ball, they had outriders taking the loose ball away.
