Has anybody been to see this double bill yet?

Would of thought Shihad would blow them off stage.

Looking forward to seeing this show in Tassie in a few weeks.

Gig review would be good.

Saw them in Townsville bout 4 weeks ago. Hadn't really heard much of either of them before and was pretty impressed. They worked the crowd well and rocked out pretty hard. Was a top show and i would recommend going to it.

Seeing them in a few weeks, already seen Gryo and Suger army. Havn't heard shihad live

it takes a pretty brave band to go on stage after shihad... i'm OS so won't be going, would be a good gig though... pretty good value for money if you ask me...

Yeah Gyroscope don't quite have the energy Shihad have live but are still very good live themselves plus now have quite a good catalogue of songs to play

Gyroscope have won quite a few live act awards and are terrific so if there is one band that could give Shihad a run for their money, it's them.

I'm going to the show but in Perth we have Jebediah supporting instead.

Funny how Gyroscope started out idolising them and were signed to their label (Redline), now a few years on their idols are supporting them

Going next weekend in Frankston so amped for it.
Gyro are one of my favourite bands live, am yet to Shihad live yet but if they are as good as what you guys are saying then it shall be awesome. Also Sugar Army are rather decent as well have heard a lot worse than them.

Shihad were amazing live last night, Gyro rocked aswell, well worth the $30 for the ticket.

Went and saw them at Metro City on Friday night and Gyroscope were simply mindblowing. You can tell they were really feeding off the fans and energy in the room given it's the largest music venue in Perth and was sold out.

Their mix was excellent, they were tight and played a fantastic rocking setlist.

Also good to see that they are still pretty down to Earth. During Safe Forever a crowd surfer was ripped down by security and dealt with extremely heavy handedly which resulted in punches being thrown by both of them as he was dragged away. When the security guard threatened to do the same to the next punter who came over the crowd and was standing over him on the ground, Brad the bass player jumped down off the stage whilst the others continued and wrestled the guard off the fan. The fan got up, gave him a pat on the back and went back into the crowd whilst everyone else gave a big cheer. They followed up with a nice "this is a f*cking rock and roll show, not a doof club".

It's just something little but pretty refreshing nevertheless and added even more to the atmosphere in the room.

Their version of Fast Girl with Beds are Burning inserted into the bridge was another highlight.

I was also interested to read an interview where they said that Shihad approached them to be their supporting act rather then Gyroscope asking. I found that quite surprising albeit worthy.

Saw this show about a month ago in Melbourne and as usual I walked away very impressed. Something like my 15th gyro experience and I'll never get tired of it. They never dissapoint. Seen shihad a few times aswell and they just get better every time, they just love to get the crowd into it. The lead singer Jon is one crazy, crazy dude. He makes the show amazing.

having chatted to Jon quite a lot he's a pretty big fan of Gyroscope, and was quite keen to do some shows with them... made sense having it that order, while shihad have been around for years, gyroscope had a no. 1 album while shihad peaked at 14 with beautiful machine...

something I'll be interested to see is next time we see the Shihad / Cog lineup we've seen many a time, if the order will remain the same, with Cog being a massive buzz band this year it is a big possibility... however it would be weird to see Cog come on after Shihad
