Both have dropped in recent weeks (S.C)

Pavlich probably won't go any lower. Hall may drop this week as his 174 will no longer count.

Interestingly both has their worst 2 games of season against Adelaide and Eagles (says something about both those teams defences)

Who is the better pick over the season?

Thoughts?

Working out a few supercoach price changes in regard to Hall ...

If he scored approximately 114 this week, he would still drop by around $18,000. Therefore would probably be looking at needing a 130+ game to maintain his price.

Anyone got any advice?

Pavlich for sure, he is my captain most weeks, scores very well, not only gets alot of marks and goals, he rarely gives away free kicks and gets alot of disposals too.

2 words explain their drop of form......Rutten.....Glass

Im thinking of putting my forwards on the bench if playing agaisnt either Crows or Eagles.

They both score well, they both get alot of marks and goals. Pav does get more possies.

Free Kicks against:

Hall - 6
Pav - 5

Clangers:

Hall - 10
Pav - 16

Tough one. Still believe Hall has higher scoring potential.

Still interested on people's thoughts on this one :thumbsu:

i have both....

but the fact that hall is 50k cheaper is a good reason.
if you look at his scores, 2 came against west coast and adelaide so that might partially explain a sub par effort.
his other low score was against richmond when he sat for the most of the game with an injury.
and his other 2 games have shown promise and even in last week's game he sat for most of the last quarter.
he will start churning out some good scores shortly.

I'd take Pavlich over Hall anyday, is more consistent.

And most forwards' scores struggle playing against both Rutten and Glass..

Yeah would agree Pavlich is more consistent. But Hall can pull in some big scores (150+) and even if Hall doesnt get a bag he still manages to score well without having to get a large amount of possies.

Where as Pavlich seems to need a high possesion count and a bag of goals to score the same.

Where has Pavlich been playing this year? Forward, Midefield or a bit of both?

Pavlich has been playing predominantly in the FWD line... except for when the Dockers are struggling and he's pushed up the ground. I've got Pavlich in my SuperCoach team, but would prefer Hall. I like guys who don't need as many stats to score well and Hall is one of these types. The Dockers have far more tall options (Tarrant and co.) which can work for/against Pavlich's points. Hall looks the better option in my opinion. :thumbsu:

Totally agree :thumbsu: . That's exactly why i'm leaning towards Hall. Can have 10 possesion, 4 goals and still get a good score. Also agree with the observation. He is more likely to kick a bag as Sydney have less tall forward options to go to than freo.

Only concern is if Hall is carrying an injury and also he is more expensive.

Will decide by friday and whatever why I go will be the wrong way

Anyone more advice/thoughts would be great :thumbsu:

Ok ... It's Friday and have been thinking about this one all week.

Going to go with Hall on the thought that he does not need a large amount of possesions to score well. Can pull in some big scores with a few goals and a few marks, where as Pavlich needs a bag of goals and posessions to get similar scores.

Any final thoughts?
