Apparently he's touch and go. I think they'll be cautious with him and bring him in for round 2.
No point rushing hammo back, i'd give him another week. Cloke first ruckman, Santy some back up if he is ok, I would think about elevating sauce for AW....his tap work was very good again today for the ants.
Would love to see him played as a specialist forward with very limited pinch hitting in the ruck, would create massive headaches for a weak Richmond defence. Hopefully he'll be right, otherwise Clokey is in for a very long and tough night.

Simmonds is 202 (I think), runs 20m in 2.94 and is a tank.
If we played him up forward, who would you guys play?
Waite (I pressume) will go to Richo, especially if setanta aint fit...then youve still gotta match up on two or three of: Simmonds, Pattison, Schulz, Hughes, Polak, Riewoldt.
Plus Deledio and Brown.
Im not saying theyre all guns, but...niether is Hampson...so our tall forwards are similar.
But weve got the edge on the ground in Lids and Browny.
But anyway...whats Hampsons chances of playing?

Ackland probably won't be fit given his interrupted pres-season. We might elevate Sam Jacobs, give him a run when PAttison is rucking, he can't jump over a jam tin either

Yes, yes and yes.
I expect Setanta will play, Jamison might even start on Richo. Thornton, Waite, Setanta and Jamison are our tall defenders. Bower is 192 and can play on the third tall or small. I would even play Bower on pattison who has no vertical leap.
I'm not sure you guys have seen much of Hampson who with his leap cleared Sandilands reach by about a foot in S.A.
He played his first practice games at carlton as a leading forward and certainyl knows how to play the position. You will certainly know more about him in the next couple of years I wouldn't expect him to play Rd 1, but have no inside knowledge on the matter.

Pattison is 199cm, and will be a Tiger favourite for the next decade.Simmonds is only 196cm (only out by 6cm lol). Pattison 197cm and very slow.

Hampson might jump him in the middle, but Simmonds and Pattison will run him off his legs... and Hampsons only a second year...I wouldnt think hed be good enough to comprehensively win the centre bounces.
Greg Williams was slow...bet you rate him?
