Fantastic day. Mates from my crew parked an old station wagon in the MCG carpark loaded with beer, snags and ice. Fantastic set up, even had a portable TV. I got there at 10am and straight into the beers, bloody fantastic. By the time we got into the ground I was well on my way. Didn't drink during the game until the last quarter celebrations. Back to our camp in the carpark after the game and then down to Richmond for more beers. Just unbelievable day.

Watched the drawn final at McGettigans Irish Pub in Fulham, London
Then the replay at the Temple Walkabout
Given the time difference I was mighty pi$$ed by 9am lol

I was at the ground that day sitting at the Punt Road end in with a lot of St Kilda members - the heater smother (snuck up behind Riewold like a librarian)
Was a true supporters Grand Final - great atmoshpere and we were never going to let it slip.
Amazing memory. Not quite as good as 1990 though for many of us .....

It's not actually too bad to have 2 left from a premiership team going into the 11th season since it happened. We did have 4 on our list this year too, with a 5th at another club.
The crazy thing is the Western Bulldogs will only have a maximum of 10 players from their 2016 flag on their list next year. That's been some turnover.

What a day!
Can't we just have a 2010 ground hog year? Would really like to forget everything footy since, hopefully will see more flags in my lifetime.
