He breached the AFL Anti-Doping Code simply by commenting on the matter whilst an AFL official. He also showed pictures of 3 Essendon players.
No wonder AFL tried to get the video removed. The bullshit claim that he thought he was speaking confidentially is irrelevant. Even if he was, he still breached the code by commenting to anyone on the matter. The AFL is buggered.

Pictures of three Essendon players were shown to the audience during Harcourt’s presentation — disclosures which appear to be breaches of the AFL Anti-Doping Code.

The code states: “The AFL or ASADA, or any officials of either, will not publicly comment on the specific facts of a pending case (as opposed to general description of process and science) except in response to public comments attributed to the player, other person or representative

“The identity of any player or other person who is asserted to have committed an anti-doping rule violation may only be publicly disclosed by the AFL or ASADA in accordance with this code.”

I don't know, I don't claim to know, which seems to be a minority opinion majority of the people on this board still operate under the presumption of innocence until proven guilty which although isn't the criteria WADA works to, is the right Australian's are afforded in this country.

From the way you've posed that you don't seem to care if outcome is fair, you just want Essendon punished. A common sentiment on the board for people who are yet to see all the evidence.

I like most people started out thinking it wasn't Essendon or the player's fault for what Dank did. I can say though without any sort of doubt that the way the football club, coaches and supporters have acted, I want to see Essendon and the players buried into oblivion now. Even if Essendon supporters started throwing themselves off the West Gate Bridge once players get banned it wouldn't concern me in the slightest. Jimmy crack corn and I don't care.

How anyone can sit there with a straight face and say Essendon are "innocent until proven guilty" when your club is trying to prevent anyone finding out if the players are innocent or guilty through the court system is beyond me. Not only that but your moronic supporters keep rubbing it in peoples faces "What evidence do you have that we took drugs" whilst suppressing the evidence.

If you can give me 1 valid reason for why Essendon is trying to stop ASADA's evidence from being used and made public I would LOVE to hear it now. The only reason Essendon are currently in the courts trying to get ASADA's investigation deemed "illegal" is because they know the horrors of what is likely to be contained in that report and how it will bring down their club.

Who were those 3 players? Is it confirmed all 3 were issued SCN's? Should they remove all images of Essendon players from the AFL website because they are wearing Essendon jumpers so by design they are implicated?

I cannot speak for others but from my point of view I would accept a categoric statement from ASADA that nothing prohibited was used and would accept the governance penalties (would still be critical of the "reward" handed to Hird).

I would remain highly critical of the EFC if they manage to wriggle out of this by attacking the process, destruction of evidence, deflection and creating a web of outright lies.

In my view ASADA seem to believe that they have enough information to issue SC notices, I'd like to see this tested. If the EFC are only guilty of some governance issues, let's see them proving it not, as present, challenging the process and (seems to me) flooding the media with anti AFL/ASADA propaganda all, seemingly, designed to deflect from the real issue which is "did they or did they not use prohibited substances"

I'd be more than happy to see the TRUTH come out but will be very disappointed if it is suppressed by either party.

Attacking Judd is a deflection by Hird's soldiers. Ignore the Essendon strategy and back to the main game of making Essendon accountable for the systematic cheating of a team in the competition. One of the biggest stories in world sport by a sporting nation who has attacked the East Germans and Chinese for the same thing at Olympics level.
