Hard Yakka Training Guernsey

Can anyone tell me what year the Woods started wearing these training guernseys? My wife found mine last week

I've got 2 , the black white and a white one . The white one was considered a bit flashy in the day .
Just YAKKA across the front and not another speck of advertising .

My dad's got the black one. needless to say I'm a bit younger than the YAKKA era.

Well in 1976 we just had the vfl emblem and when tommy was coaching in 1977 we had yakka as our sponsers, if you have the chance to watch the 1977 grand final have a look at the players with the old original jumper it actually had a pinstripe next to the black. PS The jumper was made from wool and was quite itchy, i still have my ronnie wearmouth jumper and would not sell it at any price... go pies.
