Brutal how that race was handed to Robin Hood, that race was over after 200m and thats cool he earned the win. If Iron Hudge cant hold the lead against that lot then hes another pretender at this level. Hes had some good draws lately and hasnt been able to pull off a single win.

Make Waves, Manwarra GFG and Ultimate Mark all went awesome last night. MGFG is a tough horse isn't he? Never say die attitude, got to love that in a horse.... I respect him greatly after that run.

how many times has ultimate mark gone out fav, led and been beaten, then he turns around and does that to that field, finally the real ultimate mark ran at moonee valley, great job a.gath.

andy is a stuck up dick but i just have a very vivid memory of him being run down when infront by awesome jasper but that was a stand, i just havnt been impressed with his form at all untill 2 weeks ago. obviously im speaking thru my pocket here but im happy hes hit form and he ran an awsome race in the vic cup last year when he made 2 moves and ran 4th, but i dont see him winning this year.

I Am Sam....gatespeed?

Trying to work out the early speed in the Popular Alm tonight
Told that I Am Sam is just average out......anyone?

Doesnt look much speed on the front,SS comes out ok although MOD is an unknown too.

Absolutely vital,if I Am Sam can hold,Make Waves gets the gun run.
But if SS leads,different race altogether as will certainly take a sit

Didn't see the above post till now.... I Am Sam had that field covered easily from the pole for gate speed. Paid huge too.... guess the vics underestimate the QLD'ers again!

No but once IAS led it looked a sitter trifecta,MGFG was always the death horse & nothing made ground all night.

I hardly had a bet,Bendigo Fri night's wet results put me right off.
Anchored Boorhaman in everything only to see it get bogged & run down by Scotland the Brave @ $40 (selected it in the comp last week.....)
The rain/MV track conditions & Royal Steel running through a 64.5 1st half & missing a place, convinced me that enough was enough.

Notice G Webster taking 1 horse to Charlton today.
I doubt he even knows where Charlton is

Not the biggest Harness follower but wow to Bonavista Bay' run last night @ Moonee Valley. Had reason to punture in the last 200m but pulled away like a champion.

Looking forward to seeing him again :thumbsu:

Yep,$3 was ridiculous & as much as $3.3 Betfair.
Fairly soft although did get perfect trail & hang badly.
If only I could have had that $30+ last quaddie leg...........

Artifactor - I love this horse, swooped from last to first at Bendigo today. He kinda sucks when hes used up but driven cold hes a good horse!
