Anyone see the "Ridden Trot" at Globe Derby tonight? Cant see it catching on but it was a different spectacle.

Fancy a 67 year old driver (or should that be rider) sitting on the back of a horse at catch weight and winning!

yes globe do it every year.
Monte races as there called used 2 b held very often up until about 30years ago.
The 67yo driver was probably the only one with experience, that may have helped, didnt get to see the race, too late for me!

I thought Alderbaran looked a good thing in race 2 at Harold Park. Dropping back in grade significantly behind 2 in form horses and drawn perfect... 5 minutes till the race... hehe

So far at the Valley Ay Tee Em won $92 return, False Gem no good.
HP been good. Ted Butler 1st $68 return. Revilo Jack 2nd $27 return and Ascana 3rd $20 return. Bobs Buddy no good.
Total $207 return so far. -$160 in the bank with 11 still to run. Shaping up pretty good tonight.

I can't get over the price of Ted Butler against that field. Hope you had plenty on!

Tip Your Hat is in tomorrow i think. Funny looking at the race conditions, something like M2-M3 race with M4+ horses who haven't won 10,000 this year. Well he hasn't raced this year has he, it's almost as if the race club put the race on for him for an easy kill.

Surely they must of put it on for him. There was some funny conditioned races going on as well earlier in the season nut that was due to EI.

Had a little bit on Teddy.
I did unload on Ay Tee Em though, she was my best bet tonight.

Lol slushpup all pretty short tonight. Down Under Muscle once again thought he was in the Melbourne Cup and King Kong Cooma kept gait and won.
