Sounded like it was run a bit off - again on the outside for a lot of it. Oh well - got a bit back thanks to Flightsabre. Tomorrow's another day!

EDIT: Can give up for the night I reckon as that was the last race!

EDIT 2: Only got it on the radio here so was a bit hard to tell! Didn't know that it ever had the lead to be honest.. that makes it even more frustrating Haha

Watch this race tonight. Watch the start. Dixon had the fave off the gate, had the running line if he wanted it to retake the lead but heads straight for the pegs and only when the second fave got around does he then pull out and chair. Fails by 1m when it was expected to lead. About sums up what everyone knows about harness racing.

You really can't predict those kinds of things - have to try and be philosophical and say that sometimes that's racing A poor drive is probably more frustrating than backing a breaker - at least with those you can throw the race away rather than hang on til the very end and come out disappointed!

First potential betting race in race 2 in QLD. Pete Mcmullen has a dilemma here. He could go 3 back the pegs assuming Dixie Bromac keeps the lead. I think she will run Viniboy and Dixie Bromac down comfortably. If Dixie Bromac hands up to Kikuyu then i'll be in trouble maybe.

I trust Pete will make the right choice and i think its a good E/W bet

thank fk im not betting so far. Leading the 3 line is not what i envisaged. Why is it so hard to drive correctly? He sits 3 back.... he shoots through all guns blazing. Obv not going to happen leading the 3 wide line. A very sorry 4th.

Lets see if this is driven correctly at Menangle.... leads? one would think so! Has to hold on and i think he can.
