What position do you think his best suited, Third tall forward or tall backman I think we should try and play him as a tall forward kinda of like gardiners roll as the lead up outside the fifty. He has pace and a good left foot kick, Im just wondering on how good his hands are though for marking.

Can people please refrain from refering to our new recruits in the same vein as Charlie Gardiner?

You are making me nervous!!!

Don't ever compare him to Charlie Gardiner. Ever.

He is an athletic KPP player, and is versitle as they come.

If we mold him as a KP back, then think a quicker scarlett. He is a creative play maker out of defense, who uses his speed and quality disposal to kill teams on the rebound.

Mind you if he drifts forward he is a better shot at goal then scarlo :p

i reckon he will star in the magoo's for a couple of years until harley and scarlo need replacements.

until then i cant see him getting much senior action to be honest.

i wasnt comparing him to gardiner i was saying i reckon he would be best suited to playing gardiners role. as in the lead up forward because we dont have to many quality tall forwards apart from mooney. hopefully lornegan and hawkins takes the next step.

i can tell u he will be playing in the nab cup

with the matty egan setback i think he will step straight into his position with tom harley still playin on the small forward

tom harley or matt scarlett might not even play so i think he will defintly get a chance in the 1's come nab cup to prove himself. gun IMO
everyone should get a go in the NAB cup, so that doesnt really say much

We will field a pretty full-strebgth side for the first NAB Cup game and then take the foot off a bit after that......

I'd say Harry may even get a go in that first game, given the extended interchange and the absence of Ego.

I see! Playing Gardiners' role without the falling over at crucial times and poor decisions.

And by the way, it is "Lonergan".

to be honest i believe all 44 players on the list should play at least 1 NAB cup game.
