To be honest I wouldn't be ruling out Vickery to Brisbane.

If Ziebell is still available, i'd just about put my house on him going to Brisbane.

Reckon that top 4 is pretty much on the money. Hard to see what Essendon will do to be honest. They could potentialy take anyone from:

then we see articles about Naitanui slipping to Port
theres also been alot of talk that Hurley is coming to Port
ive also heard rumours that Port want Ziebell
then its Rich is coming to Port
i also see articles about Port picking up Cousins in the draft
now i see articles about Port definitely picking up Hartlett

seems all the media outlets like to have a foot in every camp
ie: no one has a bloody clue but it makes for a good story
Im sure the powers that be are keeping their cards very close to their chest and that no one knows who is going to get drafted by who
this is the offseason and the age are scrounging for any footy story they can get

You make some good points there Spadge, although as far as Hartlett is concerned there's been quite a bit of anecdotal evidence of late hinting that the club is quite keen on him.

I agree. People are saying defence is the issue and get Hurley. But atleast you got a few players coming through in defence.

Jamison and Bower are good...Thornton is honest and Waite is good enough for CHB. Plus O'Hailpin is an option...and i forget the name of the kid you drafted who can also play back.


Forward line is the biggest worry. YOu do have Eddie Betts...but any carlton supporter will tell you that they need to improve on Betts.

Having Fevola, Fisher, Betts, Yarran and Kruezer up forward looks quite talented. Really they need a CHF, but it seems they are keen on Kruezer for this role.

i will be surprised if Carlton doesnt consider Lewis Johnston..

He is the second best performed KP and Carlton need more forwards.

Port this week have had hartlett do a VO2 max test, had both his shoulders, his knees and his ankles tested by a doctor this week. They will take him.

honestly.....i dont care who we draft out of all the overhyped top 25...i just dont want the overhyped dud

whether it be vickery hartlett etc etc....after reading the bf posters "expert" comments i have to the conclusion that there is talent in this draft but every single person that will be drafted in the 1st rounds are way overhyped and there will be duds and dissapointments in 3 years time....none of these boys are going to be certain superstars ...including the nats, riches watts....please dont let the ghost of overhyped drafts bite us in the a** in 3 years time...thats all i hope for...
