Wish him the best but feel it was far more than injuries that cost him. Had ability but just seemed to lack the capacity to reach deep inside to get the best out of himself.

Yep, all the best and that.
Do we know who else is on the block. I have a feeling this may mean a repreive for Bannister. With Fev gone and Stevo likely we must surely be the younget list again. I like what Banno can do when fit and he could be handy next year.

Was never much a fan of Harts tbh. Hoped he would come on, but injuries and them sending him to forge a career down back meant that it was only a matter of time.

Could find a home at Port.

5 years on the list, injury plagued for most part.

Got his body right for majority of 2009 but was not up to AFL standard.

No surprise.

Truth be told, Hartlett was a very costly 'draft' blunder, considering the players taken after him in the draft.

Do you ever do any research into whether your hairbrained ideas have any basis in fact? Ever?

Who would you have us take instead of Harts Mr Hindsight?

Matt Little, (he was taken after Harts, never heard of him? Me either)
Oh that must be Pat Garner then? No never heard of him either?
Chad Gibson, name sounds familiar? Thats about it, it sounds familiar
Matt Rosa, yes finally a player I have heard of, maybe would should of taken him,
Andrew Lee?
Jarred Moore maybe.
Brent Prismall, Geelong really got value there?
Cain Ackland. YES we should have taken HIM for sure (cut out the middle man).

Even WITH hindsight its hard to see a pick you would definitely take right after Harts. And you have the cheek to call it a blunder, which is bad enough but a "very costly blunder"? Please!

Of course if you keep going you get to Mark LeCras about the only gun after Harts and at that point of selecting (pick 37) it is pure luck of the draw. After that there is Ivan Maric, and Justin Sherman, and at that stage of the draft you would have a statistically better average drawing their names out of a hat.

You need to have a bit of a look at how much of a goose some of your posts are making you look.

All the best Adam, pity injuries never allowed you a good run at your footy. Wish you the best for the future :thumbsu:
The irony of course being he will be delisted after his first full season.

Sadly, sometimes it better to be injured and have people think you can play, than to be fit and prove them wrong.

He was probably lucky that we had plenty of duds to clear out in the last couple of years.

Over the next two years we will see some bigger names falling by the wayside......this is a good thing for the CFC. Our list is getting stronger. :thumbsu:

Shame.. Had a thumping kick on him..

Who was the bloke from Richmond he closed line behind play and got 2 weeks for? Opening game in 2008 if memory serves...

Was at the game.. He should have got about 6 weeks.. Was a peach..

All the best big fella...

Howatt. Reminded me then of Matthew Elliot breaking his leg or something similar when he ran into Mark Waugh whilst batting in the West Indies. Career was just starting to move and he never came back from it. Harts got 2 weeks and that was pretty much it.

Yep, we could of drafted Cain Ackland....oh, hang on.....

Rice, Harts, yeah give the number a rest for a while.

Never really though about the injuries, just thought the 23 would suit Hendo nicely.

Anything official from the club yet or are they just waiting to announce everyone at the same time?
