Has Hill Peaked?

Seems this might be the big topic of discussion this week. Scores of 55 and 47 last 2 weeks and now has a breakeven of 54 (according to FF) heading into next week. While that score should be attainable it does seem that Rocket might be losing some faith in him as others become more important to the way the Dogs set up.

So what are peoples plans with regard to Hill? Hold onto him 1-2 more weeks with the hope he regains form or take the money and run and look at jumping onto someone else?

Hill is a concern however i have bigger fish to fry before i get to Hill....such as B.Johnson and T.Cloke.

I am worried he will get dropped this week.....hopefully not though.

I'm gonna bite the bullet and trade him to Riewoldt while Riewoldt is available. I don't have J. Brown either but Brown has a high BE and is playing in Geelong in 2 weeks time.... so will trade Deledio for him in 2 weeks.

what u plan on doing with cloke because i was gonna trade out hill and upgrade cloke.

Well i got a few plans......
1- Downgrade Cloke then upgrade Johno to a Riewoldt/Chapman.
2- Use the extra cash in my bank and do Cloke to Brown, then downgrade Johno for someone.
3- Not sure....:p

Will wait until lockout ends so i can survey my options, i will tell you what i plan later during the week.

However i will keep Hill for this week at least, because like i said i have bigger worries atm.

Yeh i have T.cloke and BJ but they are premiums and keepers where J.Hill isnt. J.Hill has only scored 47 and 55 in last 2 weeks and seems to be struggling for TOG. He has a larger BE than 54 its 70 i believe as this is on the xalia.com.au site. Fanfooty are wrong.

I would have said that at the start of the year....but now, they are just downhill skiers.

Will probably trade him out for Riewoldt this week. Depending on other possible trades firstly (would prefer to upgrade mids), but this does seem to be the week to jump on board Volt.

had him from start, quite pleased with his progress, but lets say ur thinking of cashing him in, who are you looking at? i dont see a great deal, gamble maybe although cant remember his price but know hes already risen once? nj brown? chris mayne? or back on an 83ker to start getting games and string a fwe together, which at this stage doesnt look like there appears to be any obvious options?

Id be looking to upgrade, not downgrade. Plenty of good forwards dropping in price, should be able to pick one up.

Dogs have got West Coast at home next week.. expecting it to be a fairly high DT game. Hill should beat his BE

For those who wants to downgrade Hill, these are some options from having a quick look.

Chris Mayne: BE of -21, was a late withdrawal this week, should be back in according to the freo supporteres. May be competing with Tarrant for a spot, so could be dropped if Tarrant finds form.

Adam Maric: Very accurate shot for goals, so will score well if he plays. Kicked 5 last week for Sandy but wasn't in the best this week. May struggle to get back in as Bate and Newton should be back for the Dees soon, and Wona has cemented his spot as the small forwards.

Shane Valenti: Midfield rookie who showed in the pre-season that he can score well. Unfortunately need a LTI to get promoted, unlikely as has already been overlooked for Wona.

J Morton: Played well for Box Hill today, kicking 3 goals. Not too far from his debut, looks ready to step up, just a victim of the Hawk's depth.

Patrick Veszpremi: Kicked 5 for the swans reserves this week, had an interrupted pre-season but appears to be finding fitness now. Highly rated by the Swans, was touted as ready-made when drafted last year. Only thing holding him back is the fact that Sydney already have a few youngsters running around at the moment.

70 is a big BE but if he scores 70 his BE for round 7 will still be 56 and thats against the dredded swans. You could wait 1 more week just before the swans game and hope he gets that 70 but otherwise you would trade him. Plenty of good cheap forwards BJ may drop to 280k and JB is only 315 k with a BE of 98. Whilst Riewoldt and SJ are the goes as they wont be as cheap as they are now ever again.

Franklin 378,000
Revolt 379,300

Im thinkin revolt is the better option but if buddy keeps dominating he might score more over the year by kicking a big bag every now and then. What are peoples thoughts?
