I thought I noticed an attitude change against the Pies. Okay we lost badly but we won the first quarter and then lost two with injury. And now the first real team effort I have seen since round1 last year.
Maybe that move with Peter German demoted has been influential. Clearly Bluey is having a lot more input eg the rope training. Maybe there have been other moves internally we know nothing about. But whatever, it's great to see that passion.
Here's a question. Who had a bad game? I can't think of anyone.

TEAM WORK

Ive lost his name but apparently someone came over to the club for the week and did something?? **** ive totally forgotten who it was.

Anyways i think there is a big attitude change and we will only really see if it is going to be a regular thing against Adelaide. If we show the same kind of endevour against them then i think we will be in good stead.

I can only think of one player who had no real impact on the game and that was Milli. But to be fair to him it was his first game back and he didnt play in his natural position. That run against the Dees should set him up for a good game against the Crows.

Just on our defence, i personally think Melbourne has one of the best forward lines in the comp. They have Schwartz, Neitz, Farmer, Robertson, Green and Bruce. Thats a pretty formidable forward line and with the exception of Neitz who played in defence all game our D did really well to contain the others.

Also considering McIntosh didnt play down back and no Matera at half back and no Morrison who also usually plays off half back. Carroll, Glass, Wirrpunda, Jakovich and Collica all played really well and considering there all still reasonably young barring Jako i was pretty impressed with them.

Also forgot, i think the injuries to Prior, Seira, Banners, Matera, Kemp, Milli, and now Morrison is actually a godsend. I know that sounds mean but Judge would be playing these guys every week if they were fit and sure we might win more games but kids like Kerr, Cox, Gasper, Hunter, Haynes, Humm, Wooden, Munro have all been give games and i think a lot of them show promise.

So although sad that some of our good players have gone down, it has forced Judge to play the kids which will be better for the club in the long run.
