Has had a brillant year no doubt, but in two very important game son the road against Brisbane and now Syndey he has been knowhere to see. I thought there might be some inspiration being an Easts boy on the weekend, but obviously not.

He's been good, not brilliant, and that makes it a disappointing year from Haze because he's better than that. I don't know if he's fully fit, I doubt it, but at his best is in the top 7 or 8 midfielders in the league, and we haven't seen that for a long time.

The problem I have is that we have to be better than that as a team. Haselby sometimes get's taken out of a game too easily therefore others in the midfield need to step up. Currently no one does except Bell.

Very surprised that Cookie wasnt put in against Sydney. Perfect game for him.

Hase has had some ripper games but he has also had as many shockers. We need some more consistancy from him, and some help from the other "mids".

Hes had more good than bad games. Hes had 2 bad games for year, even Judd has a few bad games.

The problem with Hase is he is THE engine room of the FFC. If he gets shutdown, we lose the clearances. Other teams know this. We just need someone else to carry the load. When the 2nd in clearances is our ruckman you know you have trouble.

I like Hase, followed him through his injuries. But i think he's similiar to Kerr in that he can be tagged out of games, MAYBE, just maybe, Freo need another player similiar to him to take the heat off. I'm not sure, but i reckon Hase has had a good year, and will have an even better season next year.

I have always loved the way Hase plays and he has been fantastic for FFC.

He must have some injury concerns again, he had a good patch a while back where I thought he strung some goods games together and he felt he was really getting back to his best. What worries me is his body type, still looks like a pudgy teenager. Someone earlier compared to Kerr, no way, he is a pocket battleship in comparison. Compare to Sam Mitchell, or even Marc Murphy now, same or less time in the system but properly built for the game now. Either Hase hasn't done the hard yards in the gym over the years or his injuries have restricted him.

to put it bluntly, the Hase's back is ****ed, He can't do as much work as he would like.
