Why isnt hasleby playing in the midfield? I was watching the brisbane game and i noticed he was playing foward pocket. Is he nursing an injury?

(yes this is dream team related)

There is much speculation on this. It seems certain he is carrying an injury the nature of which is uncertain. My money is on further groin issues but its a bit of a guess based on history and the way he is moving. There is a lot of almost surpressed grimacing going on at times and he basically cant run for s*** atm. Personally I just wish they would sort it starting now but the fact that they arent worries me that it requires an op which will trash his season. The other possibility is they reckon he can play through it and over come but my money is on the first option. Very sad because he started the season so well and he is a bit of a barometer for our side.

If he says he isn't injured like he did on Ten with Lachy Reid yesterday, and saying he himself is out of form, he is a risk of getting dropped if his form doesn't pick up.

If he has declared himself injury free then once he crosses the white line he needs to produce.

Hmmm, maybe all the grimacing is directed at his poor performance lol. I'm unconvinced though, I dont care what he says, at times he walks a little like he just spent 24 hours in the saddle. I'm at a loss to explain his lack of run if it isnt an injury.

Agreed, if he was just out of form I recon they would persist with him in the midfield... sooner or later he will run himself back into form. I'm really worried about him, as you say he is a barometer for us.
Hope we're both wrong!
