Who can stand up and help Croad and Jacobs in defense if one or both go down with injuries.
Mainly for Hawk supporters to answer.

In Australia "defence" is spelt with a "C". What is this "defense" that Hawthorn has ? Could they be trying to play some strange sort of American game in Australia ?

Maybe the Hawks cheersquad could get a "de-fense clap, clap, clap, de-fense, clap, clap, clap" thing going every time the opposition penetrates their defensive 50.

Yep, can't wait, but then I'm sure some desperate posters will still try to find some reason, any reason, as to why Carlos is no good anyway. By the way, wasn't it the 'real season' when he gave Barry Hall a towelling last year?

It was def the real season when Buddy tore him a new one..
 
I've thought for a while that the Hawks defence was the worst in the league with Carlton not far behind but unlike Carlton the Hawks run and often kick a high score or out run the other team with their speed and fitness (which is what they did to us last year).

If they get some solid defenders they should be top 4 in a couple of years.

Yep, Buddy is good player no question and he did have a good quarter against Setanta didn't he. Didn't do so well against Waite though. Oh well.

Carlos has only played the game for a few years and is learning every time he runs out. This year is going to be a real treat for Blues supporters to watch him grow with every match and expose a few fools on this forum for what they aren't.

Settle down tiger. the thread title is Hawthorn Defence. Therefore, i am commenting on it. Our defence is irrelivant to yours. :rolleyes:
