Was thinking the same to be honest.

He's the same age as Grover, and we're not talking about Grover retiring next year.

Understandable if Roger has had the sh*ts with all the injuries, and finally decides to pictch it in. But I think it's pretty friggin unlikely that the coaches will want to get rid of him.

He's such a good reader of the play I'm sure Harvs will do everything he can to keep him in the team and handing his knowledge on, even if he's only able to play half of the games during the season.

Reckon he'll be back to play next year, and maybe a move into a coaching or development role in 2013.

yep, i reckon it's totally up to roger whether he wants to play on. he's still as good as ever without showing signs of aging. his speed has always been his weakest attribute, but the polish and leadership hasn't waned.

Thats horrible news, but on a sidenote I am not alone in my recovery from a broken leg. Infact that footage reminds me how I broke my leg last tuesday, nothing spectacular or gory, but still bloody painful.

He's one of my faves and in my best 22 on our list. just looks like he has an eternity when he has the ball in the back half. Glass half full, he has 6 weeks, possibility that Harves throws him in for first final, if recovery goes ok? If not, all the best for your recovery Rog, will see you next year with Mora and a full preseason behind you.

Terrible news for Rog. I really hope this doesn't spell the end for him. One of my absolute favourite players, and has been for a long time. Class act, silky smooth, a genius. Hope you're on the mend soon, Rog.

****ing injuries

Seriously, this club has to be cursed because this is ****ing ludicrous now.

Everytime we win, I expect more injuries and guess what, it occured, AGAIN!!!!!!

On a serious note, Roger has been fantastic for a long time and the poise he shows when he has the ball, brings calm to the defence and to the team. Although it appeared that he was starting to slow up a little, he's still been a class act no matter what.

Here's hoping he recovers and comes back better than ever in 2012
