Kinda got a cheap build happening(unbuilt at mo). PC shared between wife and I for home use, small business, some games etc.

I have a WD 'green' 1 TB HDD I planned on using as storage. Just after some advice for one to use for OS?

I WAS considering getting a SSD, but kinda thinking that maybe a WD black 500 GB(possible blue?) HDD may be enough for OS and main aps etc?

Any help much appreciated.

500gb? Why shouldnt that be enough?

that guy always has a couple of OS on his pc and tests them he also has some on SSD, so maybe his reviews are helpful for you.

I also like to built a pc from scratch sometime although don't think it will happen really close in the future, so long I have got to live with my 10 year old one xD(it is runnign lubuntu) lol

Not sure of I can justify the price considering it's just for basic office use. To spend extra on something that might save 10 seconds I don't think is worth it.

So saying that, a OCZ Vertex 3 60GB SSD is only 79 bucks...
