Wonder if there is any appetite to have a chat with Navarre again? Although it was Navarre that knocked the merger talks on the head 2years ago. Interesting to see Border Districts won the KNTFL colts yesterday. Could be a good foundation towards merger talks with E/A or KLU as their combined juniors performed well. Teams need to be proactive on the merger hunt. Get in early or miss the boat. Eg Charlton knocked back Wycheproof in NCFL, who then merged with Nulliwil and won the flag in their fist year.
 
Swifts only just announced Nigel Sibson as coach for next season. Talk about things getting desperate down at north park ….. blokes had more clubs then tiger woods!
He’s strategy will be to use he’s NT connections and no doubt move a heap of Tiwi island lads down for the winter exactly what he does out at Great Western.

Had heard that they were in talks with a playing and non playing coach as the final two candidates.

Sibson you'd think would be the playing one (albeit coming off a knee about 18 months ago), but I didn't get the name of non playing. Walder could/would have made sense.

Morton and Mantell not confirmed yet. Mantell likely but nothing official yet, enjoyed footy again this year but the shoulder injury throws a spanner in the works.

Joe Martin heading to warriors too. Warriors selling a premiership will happen in the next year or two but good luck getting over Ararat anytime soon. And Stawell losing two of the better players too so not sure what’s going on their with that sales pitch.

He will bring a good structure to the kee’s they seemed to be reliant on chaos footy this season from there games I seen, injuries wouldn’t of helped I know but Smith should get them on the right track
 
10 - 12 regular seniors players already have left north park with more certain to be on the move. The latest being Zac Armer to great western which is a big surprise being the brother in law of Scotty Carey. Sibson certainly has he’s work cut out for him walking into that. Can confidently say they’ll finish bottom 3 next season

Motton staying?
 
Highly doubt Motton stays. I know the Warriors are quietly confident of getting him over to Central Park. Would be about a 5% chance of staying.
