He was only 19

A good friend of mine passed away the other day after his car rolled in the country. The tragic thing was he was only 19 and still had his whole life ahead of him. It's so much tougher to accept death when the person was young, and that they are the same age as you - really made me reflect about life and things that seem so trivial.

Everyone take it easy on the roads this long weekend and stay safe.

My brothers mate passed away last week after the car he was in hit a tree in a suburban area. He was only 16. Admittingly they were doing some stupid things, and the driver was drunk, ( and unliscenced ) but its still a very sad, as 1 mistake has cost him his life.

see on one side, people could say 'serves them right. shouldnt have done what they did.' but the thing is, regardless of how stupidly you act, or what you do - NO ONE deserves to die like that. especially not that young.

I had two mates die about a year ago in a car crash. It is tough. Certainly makes you realise you are less invincible than you sometimes feel.

I agree, everyone does something very stupid every now and then, but at the same time, you have to be thankfull that thier act didn't kill inocent parties
