No I do not believe they have to make the rules public. The important thing is that the players know and understand the rules and what the consequence will be for non compliance.
I know there are a lot of opposition supporters out there who would love to have the rules made public so they can play their favoutite game of Dob In Docker

Make no bones about it, had McVeigh not been suspended, Solly wouldn't have been either.

Anyone that goes out often enough will see our players in various states of disrepair.

Apparently one was yacking his guts up in the Capitol toilets a couple of weeks back, when I was in there. Didn't hear who, didn't want to know.

Solly didn't get up to any trouble, no fights, no drunken idiocy, no staying up too late on game day, no missing training.

He got permission to stay in Melb with conditions - he broke those conditions.

That analogy puts whole new light on how I'll see leadership groups. Young men play sport very very good. Giving responsibility to any male under 25 is a dangerous gamble.
We will know the truth of the intent when contracts are handed out later this year.
